Pride For Parents Christmas Store

Are you worried about how you will afford to buy gifts for your children this Christmas? Worry no more!

The Pride for Parents Christmas Toy Store is coming back! The PFP Store will be set up and stocked with lots of popular new toys, books and games that include bikes, electronic tablets, remote-control cars, drones, trucks, dolls, basketballs, footballs, board games, and more. The PFP Store is a unique and wonderful way to demonstrate community love and support for families struggling to purchase Christmas gifts for their children. Here new toys will be purchased at almost thrift store prices – 50% or less of normal store prices. The purpose is to allow families with limited resources the opportunity to shop for their own children instead of relying on others to do so. Each gift blesses three times: A toy for your child; the joy of giving to your own children for you, the parent; and a gift toward the ongoing work of the East Wake Leadership Academy. Pride for Parents stores have operated across Wake County for the past 20 years, but this is just the second year a PFP Store has opened in east Wake County! A ministry of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and the East Wake Leadership Academy, the PFP Store will operate for four days in the Carver Center, located at 948 Morphus Bridge Road, Wendell, NC. (Next to Pleasant Grove Baptist Church)
