Pride for Parents Christmas Toy Store

A Service of

Pleasant Grove Baptist Church & The East Wake Leadership Academy

The Pride for Parents Christmas Toy Store is set up during the Christmas season as a unique and wonderful way to demonstrate community love and support for families with limited resources in east Wake County during the Christmas season. The PFP Toy Store will be stocked with popular new toys, books and games that include bikes, electronic tablets, remote-control cars, drones, trucks, dolls, basketballs, footballs, board games, and more. The purpose is to allow families with limited resources the opportunity to provide toys for their own children instead of relying on others to do so.

GIVE A TOY: Give an individual gift or have those at your office, church, school, civic organization or even your family collect toys for the store.
MAKE A MONETARY DONATION (Click Here): All donations will be used to purchase toys to stock the store to provide families with the greatest possible selection of toys and books for their children.
VOLUNTEER (Click Here)Sign up to volunteer in the store!

All of the proceeds from the store sales will be used to support the ongoing work of East Wake Leadership Academy. Each gift blesses three times: It represents a toy for a child; the joy of giving to their own children for the parent; and a gift toward the ongoing work of the East Wake Leadership Academy (EWLA). Eligible families also qualify to participate in the EWLA after-school and summer enrichment programs. For more information on those programs, go to  The store will operate in The  PGBC Carver Center/East Wake Leadership Academy, 948 Morphus Bridge Road, Wendell, NC.
